Same comment I always made…. primary complaint is lack of produce in Bay Terrace store late afternoon and/or early eve. Three of the last four times I tried to get blueberries (including this last trip) there were none.
Trying to complete your survey. It will not let me enter my pin #. This is not the first time I have had a problem. Other stores make it so easy, not true for Stop and Shop. Don’t know how this is set up, but it is not good.
I visited store #853 in Bayonne, N.J. today and was so impressed with Anthony the cashier I just had to mention it.
There was an elderly woman in front of me who was having difficulty packing her groceries. Instead of just standing there, like some do, he helped her pack all her groceries and put them in her basket. He showed compassion and caring. He is a great asset to your business.
Excellent store with wonderful people that work there.
There should be more deals and better promotion for higher steaks and meats in the butchers counter. The prime cuts of beef are really good but you wouldn’t know it unless walking directly to the counter.
I went here to provide feedback and enter the sweepstakes. Here’s what I found:
1) WAYYYYY too many ads (7+). Hard to see that site from all of the ads
2) No way to enter my pin. There was a place with an arrow pointing to it for pins, but it would not allow data entry
3) No way to contact anyone for here.
Does anyone do any serious testing for these sites before they publish them? This should be an embarassment.

My comment concerns the price of two of the products you sell.
On a recent grocery shopping trip to your store, located at 200 East Main St. , Stratford, CT 06614, I was greatly dismayed that you are charging approximately $10 for a gallon of Apple Cider, and $5 for a small container of Kozy Shack Rice Pudding. I am fully aware that the price of many goods and services have risen lately, but I cannot fathom how you can justify charging, what seems to me, to be exorbitant prices for these two items. They simply do not reflect good value, and there’s absolutely no way that I would ever purchase these overpriced items. I’ll leave that to others with deeper pockets than this retiree has.
It is utterly ridiculous that there is no option to enter a Stop & Shop gift card for payment for an online order. Having to call to use a proprietary gift card and the fact that the balance and card can’t be saved to my account is extremely inconvenient. I would never advise someone to buy one of your gift cards because they are so difficult to use. I’m currently on hold.
The store is always clean and the employees are polite.

I can not shop Stop and Shop anymore . You charge .10 for a bag that cost you less than a penny and your items are more expensive than shaw’s and Market Basket which do not charge for bags.
It is unacceptable to have only 2 registers open with actual customer service especially on a Saturday. 😡 Many people don’t like self check out, especially the elderly. Please bring back friendly cashiers to service the people! Thank you! I hate self checkout!
